Is it possible that JetBlue baggage policy misinformed her about its updated carry-on baggage rules, leaving her unprepared for a fee?
Murphy received a call from a JetBlue worker who apologised for the "confusion." They claimed that I slipped between the cracks, she claims. The checked bag cost will be refunded by JetBlue. Would JetBlue have discovered the problem eventually and reimbursed the bag fee? Maybe. Murphy, though, disagrees. Without your help, she claims, "I doubt they would have cared in any way." I sincerely appreciate your help. What a fuss for such a ridiculous policy change, she continues. It's not like I selected a bargain seat either.
She is correct in both instances. A four hundred and twelve dollar meal is not cheap food. Simply said, JetBlue modified its limits to increase revenue. Also, it is rude to make passengers who pay these tickets pay extra for a carry-on luggage. This is not the way to "bring back humanity" to air travel, as JetBlue's well-known tagline claims.
Unfortunately for passengers, I believe the airline stopped using its motto years ago.
